2003 Region 9 Championships and HDS Open Show Results:
Top Line had a fantastic weekend! In the Open Show, congratulations to Audrey and Chopin for their 61% Qualifying Score at Training Level Amateur. Also, congratulations to Elise and Justice is Coming (JC) for earning a Qualifying Score at Training Level Junior! In the 2003 Championships, Beth and Donja Bonita finished 4th in the Second Level Amateur ABIC Championship and 7th in the Third Level Amateur ABIC Championship ... even after Beth forgot part of the Third Level test .. oops!!
2003 Archives:
August 2003: Donja Bonita and Beth Colle earned qualifying scores at both Third Level Test 3 Amateur and Second Level Test 4 Amateur. They also won their Third Level Test 3 class! Donja Bonita and Beth are now qualified for ABIC and SWDC Championships at both Second AND Third Level Amateur!
April 26-27, 2003: It was a great show for Top Line riders! Sandy Ramm and Casey earned a qualifying score for Training Level! Donja Bonita and Beth Colle earned a qualifying score for Third Level! And finally, Audrey Hickman and Chopin earned a long-awaited qualifying score at Training Level!! Audrey also won the special award for "Most Courteous Rider in the Warm-Up Ring." Way to go Audrey!!
March 2, 2003: Julie took two of her students to the Freestyle Farms Frostbite Show at Great Southwest Equestrian Center. Audrey Hickman and her Holsteiner gelding Chopin showed Training Level Test 4 - it was a great warm-up to get ready for this year's show season! Beth Colle and her Hanoverian mare Donja Bonita earned a qualifying score at Second Level Test 4 with 61.765% and 3rd place, plus they earned 1st place at Third Level Test 3 in their Third Level debut!
February 6, 2003: Trainer Julie McGee-Harkness and student Beth Colle were excited to ride in Equus America at the Reliant Arena. Julie rode her young mare Phaedra in the Training/First Level group, and Beth Colle rode her mare Donja Bonita in the Second/Third Level group with clinician Jessica Ransehousen. Riding in Reliant Arena was certainly a memorable experience, and the horses handled it like pros!
